Our Practice

Mendy Adzagah, M.S. CCC-SLP is the owner and primary therapist at Talk and Taste Therapy. She graduated from Brigham Young University with both her bachelor and master of science degrees in Communication Disorders. She completed her clinical fellowship at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, NM before returning to Utah to work at Primary Children's Outpatient Rehab where she continues to work in addition to her time at Talk and Taste Therapy. Mendy has particular interest in childhood apraxia of speech, bilingual language learners and those transitioning to solid foods. She speaks Spanish fluently. Mendy loves spending time with her husband and son, doing yoga, dancing, and trying new foods.

  • M.S. Communication Disorders

  • Utah SLP License

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence

  • SOFFI (Supporting Oral Feeding in Fragile Infants) Certified Therapist

  • Lactation Management Course by Intermountain Health

  • Anxious Eaters Anxious Mealtimes Course by Marsha Dunn Klein

Individualized Therapy

We provide individualized treatment that is suited to fit your child's needs. We believe in using play and natural contexts to make therapy motivating and easy to implement again at home. 

Parent Education

We believe in empowering parents to support their child's growth and development. Our team teaches parents about feeding and communication strategies and activities to use at home.
